Care in your neighborhoodA community-based network

You have convenient options to get the care you need, when and where you need it.

MinuteClinic locations are open seven days a week, including nights and weekends. You get a range of services to help you and your family stay healthy. Our care team can help with many issues, such as pink eye or ear infections. And if needed, providers can write prescriptions so you get your medicine on site. Depending on your plan, MinuteClinic services are at no cost or low cost to you.

A quality network for quality care

What makes a high-quality network? Having a good relationship with your doctors and health care providers. That’s why we were among the first health plans to offer value-based care. That means we reward our doctors, hospitals and other health care professionals for providing care that helps you stay healthy. For example, we encourage doctors to offer later office hours or reach out to you to help you manage your condition. So you have the support you need through your health care journey.

  • Care manager support

You have a range of ways to connect with a care manager. You can call the number on the back of your ID card or log in to your member website. For members with certain health conditions, a care manager may reach out to you. We can help you find a doctor, schedule appointments and provide tips to lower your costs.

  • Whole-health approach

When you meet with a care manager, they listen to your current health issues and goals to create a unique care plan for you. This may include programs and touchpoints that address your health needs from a whole-health view. After starting the plan, your care manager will continue to work with you, based on program benefits.

  • Wide-ranging coverage

We serve many members in different states. So if you need care when traveling or have children at school in another area, rest assured. Our broad network will help keep you covered.

  • Plan tools and guidance

You can search for in-network providers on your Aetna member website. Just look for the Aetna Smart Compare® mark for “Quality & Effective Care.” This ensures you’re seeing doctors that provide the best care available by American Medical Association standards. You can also read provider reviews before making an appointment.
