A lump-sum cash benefit that can help beyond medical coverage

Treatment and recovery bring more than medical needs alone. These plans can help your clients feel better prepared for the expenses that may follow, with a cash benefit they can use to cover any extra costs.

  • Cash benefits for travel, lost income and other expenses

Travel, airfare, lodging, everyday bills and lost income can create added financial strain during treatment and recovery. This lump-sum cash benefit gives clients added support when they need it most.

  • Coverage that pairs well with medical plans

Benefits are paid in addition to existing medical coverage, so this plan can complement a medical plan when clients need it.

  • A practical way to pay without dipping into savings

Added cash benefits can help clients manage unexpected expenses during treatment or recovery, so they don’t need to use money they’ve set aside.

  • Guaranteed renewable coverage

Clients can count on this coverage to stay in place as long as premiums are paid on time.

Do your clients have coverage for cancer, heart attack, or stroke? How would your client and their family pay bills if diagnosed with one of these illnesses?

Even those who lead a healthy lifestyle run the risk of being diagnosed with one or more of these illnesses. Anyone at any time can be diagnosed with cancer, heart attack, or stroke. No one likes to think about the possibilities. But the risks are very real.

88% of all cancers are diagnosed in persons 50 or older¹
Heart attacks are one of the most expensive conditions treated in hospitals² Strokes are the leading cause of serious long-term disabilities3

The good news is that survival rates for cancer, heart attack, and stroke are increasing. But, treatment comes at a cost – and those costs are increasing as well. The costs of treating cancer will increase 34% by the year 2030.¹ And, heart disease is one of the most expensive health conditions to treat in the U.S.²
