Getting started with your plan

Thanks for being a member of the Aetna® Medicare Prescription Drug Plan, or PDP. At Aetna, our goal is to help you get the medicine you need, when you need it, at the right price. That’s why your Aetna prescription drug plan comes with tools that make it easy to manage your plan. 


The first tool in your Aetna Medicare PDP toolkit is You can visit any time you want to: 

  • See if your drugs are covered 
  • Find the current list of all covered drugs, called a formulary 
  • Locate a network pharmacy 
  • View your plan documents 
  • Log in to your secure member account 

A secure member account on is another important tool for Aetna PDP members. It’s where we provide you with your personal prescription drug information. Your secure member account makes it easy for you to: 

  • View the prescriptions you filled 
  • Review your Explanation of Benefits, or EOB, and track your monthly and annual spending 
  • Find ways to save on your prescriptions 
  • Sign up for mail delivery service when you want to skip a trip to the pharmacy 
  • And learn about discounts you can get as an Aetna member on things like meal delivery, hearing aids and dental care 

Don’t have a personal account? It’s easy to set one up! Simply go to and click the Register button. From there, you can use any one of the following to create your account: 

  • Your prescription drug plan member ID card 
  • Personal information. You’ll answer a few quick questions to confirm your identity. 

If you need help registering your personal account, we’re here for you. Call the Customer Care team at 1-866-862-0778 ${tty}. Or call the number on your Aetna Member ID card. The team is available 24/7 to help you when you need it. 


Want to save money on your prescriptions? Using a preferred pharmacy may help lower prescription drug cost. Take advantage of our large pharmacy network. To find a preferred pharmacy near you, check the online locator at


Moving your prescriptions to a preferred pharmacy is as easy as 1, 2, 3. 

  1. Call or visit the preferred pharmacy where you’d like to fill your prescriptions. 
  2. Have your pill bottles and your member ID card handy. 
  3. Relax while the pharmacist takes care of the rest. 

And whether you use retail or mail order, your copay for a 90-day supply of Tier 1 drugs is only $0 to $6. The amount depends on your PDP plan.
