Be prepared for the unexpected
Voluntary insurance products give members the power to choose the benefits they need and want, without adding costs to an employer’s bottom line. Aetna offers a portfolio of options, such as:
Aetna Fixed BenefitsSM Plan
This insurance plan pays a fixed cash benefit for a wide range of medical services — such as office visits, emergency room visits and prescription drugs — directly to the member. While this is not traditional comprehensive medical coverage, it can be a great choice for employees — particularly if they have other medical coverage with a high deductible.
Voluntary group plans available through employers
Pays a cash benefit when members receive covered services after having been admitted to the hospital.
Dental & vision
This insurance coverage helps members pay for checkups, cleanings and common procedures.
These plans do not offer comprehensive benefits. They provide limited coverage. Benefits are supplemental and are not intended to substitute for other health insurance coverage.
The Aetna Voluntary Plans are underwritten by Aetna Life Insurance Company (Aetna) and administered by Aetna Voluntary.
