Free mental health counseling using telemedicine. We’re offering a $0 copay* for outpatient mental health visits until September 30, 2020. 

Taking care of your emotional health right now is more important than ever, so don’t hesitate and to get the support you need. Costs will be waived for telemedicine counseling visits through:

 

  • In-network providers who deliver virtual care, such as over-the-phone care and live videoconferencing
  • Teladoc® options through the Aetna Health app
  • Other virtual care apps or services that are part of your plan

 

* Plan coverage terms may vary. The $0 copay is for real-time virtual visits offered by in-network providers in participating plans. If you are unsure, check your Aetna member website for plan details or call the number on the back of your Member ID card to confirm Telemedicine & Teladoc eligibility.


Regulations regarding telemedicine services and care package availability for Aetna Medicaid members varies by state and, in some cases, are changing in light of the current situation. Aetna Medicaid members with questions about their benefits can call the member services phone number on their ID cards.

To help you during the COVID-19 pandemic, we've opened crisis response lines for all members. Just call 1-833-327-AETNA 1-833-327-2386 (TTY: 711). All Aetna® and CVS Caremark® members also have access to the Aetna nurse medical line at 1-800-556-1555 (TTY: 711).

Free coronavirus testing and doctor visits. You’ll have $0 copays for any diagnostic testing and doctor visits related to COVID-19.


If you meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for testing, and it’s requested by your doctor, we’ll waive the cost for testing.

We’re waiving copays and cost sharing for members through September 30, 2020, for all of our insured commercial plans.
 

Keep in mind: Self-insured plan sponsors can offer this waiver at their discretion. So be sure to check with your employer to see what your plan covers.

Free delivery on CVS Pharmacy® prescriptions.


Limit your exposure to the virus, or avoid passing it around by having your medications (excluding over-the-counter medications) delivered to your home. You’ll have the option of one to two day delivery when your prescription is ready between March 9, 2020 to August 31, 2020. Plus, we’re waiving early refill limits through September 30, 2020 on most prescription maintenance medications through CVS Caremark.

Now through September 30, 2020, we’re waiving your out-of-pocket costs for all in-network visits — both in office and through telehealth — for any reason. So you can continue to get the essential preventive and primary care you need at this time

We’ll refill your prescriptions early if you need it
 

If you have Part D drug coverage through your Aetna Medicare plan, you can get your prescription refilled earlier than you normally would through September 30, 2020. For many of the medications we cover, you can also get a 90-day supply.
