We’ll waive the cost for testing, provided you meet the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for testing and your doctor requests it.

Avoid trips to the pharmacy by signing up to have your medications (excluding over-the-counter medicines) delivered to your home with one or two-day Rx Delivery for $4.99.  Prices are subject to change and delivery services are subject to availability.

$0 COVID-19 testing

 

If you have Medicare Part B, Medicare will now cover up to eight over-the-counter COVID-19 tests each month for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency. It's at no extra cost to you. And you’re covered even if you’re enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan.
 

You must get the tests from participating pharmacies and health care providers. You can find a partial list of participating providers at Medicare.gov. Or ask your pharmacy or health care provider.


You can also order up to two sets of four, at-home tests from COVIDtests.gov.

 

Aetna® will also continue to cover at $0:

 

  • COVID-19 tests that are processed in a lab and ordered by a doctor
  • One COVID-19 test that you buy and have processed in a lab without a doctor’s order
 

Crisis and counseling support
 

  • Medicare members with Aetna Resources For Living® can call for resource referrals at 1-866-370-4842 (TTY: 711).
  • All Medicare members have 24/7 access to the Aetna nurse medical line at 1-800-556-1555 (TTY: 711).

Telemedicine services

 

Aetna covers telemedicine visits with network providers. We also offer access via Teladoc®, MinuteClinic Video Visit™ and E-Clinic Visits. You could consider telemedicine as an option to limit potential exposure to COVID-19 in physicians’ offices.
 

Medicare Advantage members may use telemedicine for any reason, not just COVID-19 diagnosis.


You will pay the same cost share as if you went for an in-person office visit, unless related to a COVID-19 diagnosis.  Members should check their Schedule of Cost Sharing or call Member Services at the toll-free number on their ID card.

Regulations regarding telemedicine services for Aetna® Medicaid members vary by state. And in some cases, they’re changing in light of the current situation. Aetna Medicaid members who have questions about their benefits can call the phone number on their ID card. Aetna is part of the CVS Health® family of companies.
