Welcome to the neighborhood and your Aetna Whole Health plan.
We’ve made it easy to get started on your path to healthier living.
[Visual cue]: MUSIC — easy-going, happy and quickly paced to help push the video forward. Opening is similar to “neighborhood” video with large city to medium city to neighborhood block.
It’s just like a walk in the park …
… with your member ID card as your passport to coordinated care and health care savings.
[Visual cue]: Characters (man, woman and dog) are walking in a park. Member ID card appears.
You’ll notice the name of your network on your member ID card. By staying within your network for care, you can save money and get more coordinated care.
[Visual cue]: Network is highlighted on card. Stay within your network to save money
As you enter your path to healthier living, here are a few things you need to do.
[Visual cue]: Scene shifts back to walk in the park. Large trail map shows steps (potential place to add TOC for subsequent video content). For this video: Register for your secure member website.
Start by registering for your member website. To do it, you just need your ID card or Social Security number, a log-in name and a password to keep it secure.
[Visual cue]: Member ID card appears again and then transforms into a computer screen with a simplified animation of the registration screen.
At your member website you can find out what your plan covers.
[Visual cue]: The simplified animation shows website plan and then services screens.
You can search for network doctors and hospitals …
- check your personal health record
- see reminders for important preventive screenings
- and get an estimate for services you may need.
And remember, staying in the network keeps your costs lower.
[Visual cue]: The simplified animation now leads the viewer through the different features — doctor search, personal health record and reminders.
Now, first things first. If you didn’t choose a primary care doctor* when you enrolled, do that now. And let us know who you picked right away. It’s easy to do all of that on your secure member site.
[Visual cue]: The simplified animation shows the doctor search again followed by “make this my primary care doctor” clickable link.
Then your primary care doctor can join you on your path to healthier living.
[Visual cue]: Back to the walk in the park where a doctor joins the couple and their dog.
Your doctor gets to know you and your medical history. And helps find care programs tailored to your needs, while directing your care with other doctors and nurses on your care team.
[Visual cue]: Signs on the trail show:
- Medical history
- Care programs
You’ll rely on them to coordinate your care within your Aetna Whole Health network.
[Visual cue]: Sign for specialists with pictures of characters in different care roles.
Your plan also includes an annual wellness visit. It’s a good idea to schedule your visit right after you’ve selected your doctor … even if it’s for later in the year.
[Visual cue]: The simplified screen animation now shows where to schedule an annual wellness visit.
At your wellness exam you and your primary care doctor can make a plan for your good health.
[Visual cue]: Scene turns into visit between doctor and the female character.
As you visit, talk about which screenings and tests you need. And ask if you can save money by switching to generic medications.
[Visual cue]: Doctor points to chart on wall with this information:
- Mammograms for women over 40
- Colorectal cancer screenings for adults over 50
- Immunizations, including flu shots
Your own primary care doctor and a full care team are ready to put you at the center of your care. So activate your plan and start realizing your vision of healthier living today.
[Visual cue]: Back to walk in the park where the Specialist trail sign now includes the doctor too.
Final trail sign — Be sure to:
- Register for your secure member website
- Choose (or update) your network primary care doctor
We see the couple and dog walking into a bright sunset.
