Employer coverage? If your employer is offering Aetna coverage for 2018, contact the employer’s benefits administrator for details.

Special Enrollment Period – 2017

As of February 1, we are in a Special Enrollment period.  Anyone can buy a health benefits or insurance plan during Open Enrollment. But during Special Enrollment, you can buy a health plan only if you have experienced certain life changes.  You usually have up to 60 days after the change to enroll.

Here are some of the more common life changes:

  • Birth or adoption of child
  • Marriage
  • Move to a different county or zip code
  • Loss of health coverage (due to job loss, divorce, death, or another valid reason)
