These are the doers.
Hardworking people who stayed strong when our nation was at its weakest.
Working. Commuting. Doing essential jobs on the front lines.
It was the doers who hunkered down and lifted the rest of us up.
We celebrated them then and it’s time to protect them now.
As America turns the corner on COVID-19, life as it was can only happen when enough of us are vaccinated. Getting the vaccine can be a difficult decision. It’s wrapped in history, personal uncertainty, family influences, even politics.
But the coronavirus vaccines were tested in adults and children. There were strict clinical trials, including people of various races, ethnicities, and ages.
The vaccines were then authorized by the CDC and FDA, the leading national authorities in science and medicine. And they are trusted and supported by doctors, nurses, pharmacists, parents, and everyday Americans across the country.
Millions of Americans have received the vaccine since – making us all safer every day. There have been minimal signs of harmful side effects. And COVID-19 cases have been declining.
Vaccines are widely regarded as the best and safest way to get back to the people and things we know and love.
It’s time to protect our communities. And the people who make them our home. That’s why Aetna® and CVS Health® have led the vaccination effort. Because no one deserves our help more than the doers.
Family and community. Barbecues and birthday parties. Church gatherings and quinceañeras. Spending time with family, friends and loved ones. Now we must recommit to helping those who helped us through.
The vaccine is free. So, don’t hesitate. Don’t wait any longer.
It’s time. It’s time. It’s time to get vaccinated.
