Manage users — eEnrollment and eBilling

Manage users is a way for you, the HR administrator, to set up other users to perform administrative functions for your company. Dependent on your access, you can perform a number of tasks within the eEnrollment and/or eBilling tool.

Who can have access?

This role is for HR and/or Benefit administrators.

Registration of Users

  • Manage users has role base access. Roles allow you to set the access you would like to give to a user.
  •

Roles

 eEnrollment

  • Primary Contact is the main contact for the company and will have full administration access and can set up other users.
  • General User has limited administration and cannot set up other users.
  •

eBilling

  • Primary Contact is the main contact for the company and will have full administration access and can set up other users.
  • View Only and Restricted Access will have limited administration access. They cannot set up other users.
  •

Registration of Brokers

If a broker administers your account, do not set them up using this Manage User function. Brokers will be provided access through a different registration method.

How it works

Use the Manage User Training Guide to learn about the access roles and how to add and remove a user. The Training Guide is located in Help and Resources.

Manage Broker Access is a subset of Manage Users. This function allows you to enable or disable access to the Enrollment and/or Billing tools for the Broker of Record. Disabling does not remove the Broker of Record. Contact your Aetna representative if you would like to remove or change your Broker of Record.

Who can have access?

Only a user with Primary Contact access can enable or disable access for your broker.

How it works

From the eBusiness website, select Manage Users and then Manage Broker Access. Once on the page, you can view the brokers that have access to your account. You can enable or disable a broker here.

If you would like to change your broker, you will need to contact your Aetna representative.
