eEnrollment and eBilling: How to set up other users

Need to add a user to manage enrollment and billing tasks? We’ll show you how with the “Manage Users” feature.

Manage UsersAdd a user to perform enrollment and/or billing tasks

The Manage Users feature lets you add other users to the eEnrollment and/or eBilling tools to perform administrative tasks for your company, such as managing employee benefits, making changes and handling billing.

If a broker administers your account, we’ll give them access through a different method. Be sure not to use Manage Users to set up broker access.

 

Who’s it for?

  • Manage Users is only for HR and benefit administrators.

Role types

Manage Users lets you set the type of access or “role” you’d like to give to a user.

For eEnrollment:

  • The Primary Contact role is the main contact for the company. They have full administration access and can set up other users.
  • The General User role has limited administration access. They can’t set up other users.

For eBilling:

  • The Primary Contact role is the main contact for the company. They have full administration access and can set up other users.
  • The View Only and Restricted Access roles have limited administration access. They can’t set up other users.

Manage Broker AccessView, enable or remove your broker of record’s access

The Manage Broker Access feature lets you view, enable or remove access to the enrollment and/or billing tools for the broker of record.

Keep in mind: Removing a broker’s access doesn’t remove the broker of record for your company. To remove or change your broker of record, contact your Aetna® rep.

Who’s it for?

  • Only Primary Contact users can enable or remove broker access.

To view brokers that have access to your account or manage their access, go to Manage Users, then Manage Broker Access.
