Text transcript for “Encouragement when you need it most” video: 1:46

Background music: Upbeat music plays during the entire video.

Media description (scene 1): Jason, a CVS Weight Management program participant, shares his weight management story.

Narration: I've always had an issue with weight management. I've had a lot of ups and downs over the course of my life. Started off in high school… was a big kid, played football.

Media description (scene 2): A scale shows a number going up until it reaches 280.

Narration: Got up to about 280 pounds.

Media description (scene 3): Split screen that shows a family on one side and a dad’s body growing larger in the waist.

Narration: But then, you know, met my wife, had some kids. And Dad weight packed on a little bit.

Media description (scene 4): A scale shows a number going up until it reaches 320. A series of healthy foods replaces the scale.

Narration: And I found myself around 320 pounds and tried a lot of different diets, and I got myself down to about 215 pounds. It was tough to maintain. I met with my doctor, and he introduced me to a medicine, Saxenda.

Media description (scene 5): A plate of food with larger portions. The food on the plate gets smaller.

Narration: And that was really helpful because part of the issue that I had and was really tough to control was the portions. And Saxenda really helped there.

Media description (scene 6): The CVS Weight Management program app with images of healthy food, a scale and a provider, to show range of program support.

Narration: And around the same time, I was introduced to the CVS Weight Management program.

Media description (scene 7): Text bubbles between Jason and Frankie, a CVS Weight Management program dietitian.

On-screen text: Participants are paired with CVS Weight Management™ program registered dietitians.

Narration: And so I got introduced to Frankie. And it was really helpful because Saxenda winded up not being available. And so I was kind of freaking out because I had made some decent progress. It was about 20 or 30 pounds at the time.

Media description (scene 8): Tempting holiday foods surround Jason.

Narration: And it was approaching a really tough time through the holidays.

Media description (scene 9): Portion-controlled food on a plate.

Narration: And she gave me some really good advice about how to continue to maintain portion control.

Media description (scene 10): A scale shows numbers going down until it reaches 260. Confetti appears around the scale.

Narration: And now I haven't had the medicine at all since October and about 60 pounds loss overall. So I've managed to double what I've lost without medicine at all.

Media description (scene 11): A series of steps that show a sneaker, bread with downward arrow, a barbell and a scale, with Jason and dietitian making progress up the steps.

Narration: It just felt good to have somebody to talk to, somebody that was encouraging and supportive and really giving me successful tips.
