This CPB has been revised to state that Aetna considers bronchoscopic lung volume reduction procedures, including the placement of bronchial valves (e.g., Zephyr Endobronchial Valve (EBV), IntraBronchial Valve (IBV)), experimental and investigational because of insufficient evidence of their effectiveness.
