We believe the future of health care is rooted in collaboration and innovation. We're working with health care organizations— applying technology, new business models and integrated approaches to care delivery — to improve quality, value and the patient experience.

Helping to fight heart disease

Campaign to Change Direction

Aetna is a founding member of the Campaign to Change Direction, a new movement that will change the story about mental health, mental illness, and wellness in America. This collective effort has already attracted more than 50 businesses, government agencies, nonprofit partners and entire communities.

The campaign encourages us to pay attention to the basic signs of emotional suffering: withdrawal, hopelessness, agitation, decline in personal care, and change in personality.

Encouraging people to reach out when someone is exhibiting these signs will reduce suffering. And accepting the challenge to change direction will lead to healthier communities.
