Aetna's Graduate Summer Associate Program
Aetna's Graduate Summer Associate Program was established to identify and develop talent for leadership positions throughout the company. The program is designed to attract high-potential graduate students by offering challenging summer assignments that reflect regular, full-time positions.

Hiring areas exist in a variety of corporate and strategic functions, typically including Aetna Global Benefits, Corporate Finance, Corporate Development, Information Technology, Operational Excellence Group, Strategic Marketing and Communications and Strategic Planning. Our program offers you:

• Formal orientation, classroom, and e-based training
• Weekly executive speaker series, including the opportunity to learn from Aetna’s Executive Committee and senior leaders
• Project-management experience in your functional area
• Social networking and community service events throughout the summer

You’ll also have the opportunity to work on a cross-functional final team project that has strategic importance to Aetna’s business. As part of this end-of-summer project, you’ll present your research and recommendations to Aetna's Executive Committee.

How to Qualify
Here’s what we’d like to see in your background:

• Education or career interest in the hiring area
• 3-5 years of related professional work experience. Prior experience in health care, consulting, or financial services industries is preferred
• Completion of a graduate program (one year for Summer Associate Program)
