If you answered yes to any of the above, you're in luck. Aetna's Summer Intern Program provides students with a depth of experience in functional area assignments, as well as a breadth of experience through company-wide programs including classroom and e-based training, an executive speaker series, social and community service events, and a cross-functional final project. Our paid internships typically last 10-12 weeks, 40 hours a week, from May to August. Most internships are based out of our corporate headquarters in Connecticut, with additional positions at Aetna offices around the country. Aetna co-op positions: As an Aetna co-op, you'll be employed for a minimum of five months and work at least 20 hours a week. Most co-op students work full time in six-month blocks (January through June, or June through December). Aetna's Graduate Summer Associate Program Aetna's Graduate Summer Associate Program was established to identify and develop talent for leadership positions throughout the company. The program is designed to attract high-potential graduate students by offering challenging assignments reflective of regular, full-time positions. The program includes classroom and e-based training, a weekly executive speaker series, social and community service events and a cross-functional final project, including a final presentation to Aetna's top executives.
