Build an effective wellness strategy for your customers – Aetna’s Roadmap to Wellness Packages

Employee health status is directly linked to the cost of their benefits program.  Plan sponsors know the importance of getting to a future state where:

  • Employees and their dependents are fully engaged in their health and take responsibility for health care decisions.
  • Plan participants receive a personalized benefits experience that reflects their unique needs and is based on clinical evidence.
  • All of their benefits programs work together seamlessly to enhance their bottom line and the health of their employees.

Implementing a solid and well-thought-out wellness strategy is key to infusing a supportive culture for your customers.  We offer a consultative approach to a comprehensive strategy.

Aetna’s Roadmap to Wellness Packages, available for our Middle Market segment, are a simple, easy-to-implement wellness solution for plan sponsors to ensure a successful and effective wellness strategy for your customers' employees. In addition, the Roadmap is supported by a turn-key communications toolkit for a streamlined deployment to support the plan sponsor’s wellness strategy.

To help plan sponsors choose the right wellness programs for their business, the Aetna wellness offerings are grouped into three levels for both self-funded and fully insured businesses:

Core – For employers who are ready to introduce wellness to their employees.  Aetna's medical plans automatically include a wealth of programs to help employees live healthier lives. These programs include health information and discounts on a variety of products and services.

Enhanced – Additional programs and resources for employers who are ready to take the next step onsite screenings and EAP.

Premier – This level adds Healthy Lifestyle Coaching to provide one-on-one assistance.

Aetna is ready today for the future of health care and we invite you and your customers to join us on the journey.  We can work with customers to ignite, drive and support change.  The journey starts with the plan sponsor, but the ultimate success is dependent upon employee participation and engagement.
