Aetna PharmacyFund^® - A simple three-part insurance or benefit plan to help manage prescription drug costs

1. The Fund
• Allocate a fund for each plan member to help pay for eligible prescription expenses up to the fund amount
• Remaining fund dollars can roll over into the following year if the member remains in Aetna PharmacyFund



2. The Deductible
• A set amount of expense members pay each year before their underlying prescription drug plan begins to make payments
• Payments from the fund also reduce the deductible - good news for members!



3. The Base Prescription Drug Benefits Plan
• Once the deductible is met, the plan provides coverage
• Members are responsible for a copayment or coinsurance for each covered prescription they fill
• The plan consists of prescription medication coverage and copayments or coinsurance, depending on which plan is selected
