Aetna Group Insurance offers both short and long term disability benefits. In some states, Aetna also offers state mandated disability insurance benefits. Please click on the links below to learn more about these offerings.

Short Term Disability
Short Term Disability (STD) provides a weekly benefit in the event of a qualifying injury or illness. 

Long Term Disability
Long Term Disability (LTD) provides a monthly benefit in the event of a qualifying injury or illness. 

State Mandated Disability 
Some states have state mandated disability plans. If you work in such a state, you may be eligible for the state mandated benefit.
