Crozer-Keystone Health System Joins Aetna Better Health Network

PHILADELPHIA, September 15, 2010 — Aetna® Better Health in Pennsylvania and Crozer- Keystone Health System announced today that they have reached agreement on a new contract that adds the health system to the Medicaid provider’s network in Pennsylvania. The new contract is effective immediately. Aetna Better Health, Aetna’s (NYSE: AET) Medicaid business, was awarded a contract by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and began offering a Medicaid managed care program in the Commonwealth on April 1, 2010. It currently has approximately 30,000 members across the Southeastern and Lehigh/Capital regions of Pennsylvania. Aetna Better Health has established its Pennsylvania presence and is located at 2000 Market Street in Philadelphia. “We strive to provide our members with access to high-quality hospitals and physicians,” said Deborah Nichols, chief executive officer of Aetna Better Health in Pennsylvania. “Crozer-Keystone has a well-deserved reputation for providing a full spectrum of wellness, prevention, acute care, rehabilitation and restorative care to the community.” Crozer-Keystone includes five hospitals and a comprehensive physician network of primary-care and specialty practices.
