Dr. Edmund Pezalla Named President Of The Pharmacy And Therapeutics Society

HARTFORD, Conn., December 02, 2008 — Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced today that the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Society (PTS) recently selected Edmund Pezalla, M.D., MPH to serve as its president in 2009. Pezalla, who is national medical director and chief clinical officer for Aetna Pharmacy Management, has served for two years on the Board of Trustees for PTS, most recently as secretary in 2008.
