Roger Cassidy Named National Accounts Vice President For Aetna‘s Northern California Market
WALNUT CREEK, Calif., September 20, 2007 — Roger Cassidy has been appointed to lead sales and service operations for Aetna’s (NYSE: ΑET) National Accounts customer segment in Northern California. Cassidy takes over from Ron Smith, who will maintain responsibility for National Accounts sales and service for the company’s Pacific Northwest markets.
Cassidy has been employed with Aetna since 1978 in a variety of sales-related positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as National Accounts vice president of sales and service in Chicago.
"With his wealth of experience, Roger will be instrumental in Aetna’s continuing growth in the important Northern California market," said Pam Kehaly, president of National Accounts for Aetna’s West region. "We are excited to have Roger back in Northern California."
Cassidy is a graduate of Queen’s University, Canada and the University of Missouri. He began his Aetna career in San Jose, before moving to assignments in other parts of California, New York and the company’s headquarters in Hartford, Conn. He is based in the company’s San Francisco office.
