Aetna's Third Quarter 2001 Results Release and Conference Call Date Set

HARTFORD, Conn., October 11, 2001 — Aetna Inc. (NYSE: ΑET) will release third quarter financial results the morning of November 7, 2001, and host a conference call and Webcast to discuss the results, beginning at 9 a.m. EST that same morning.
