What Are Aetna Medicare Advantage Plans?

With an Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan, Medicare contracts with Aetna to coordinate your Medicare coverage. Sometimes referred to as Medicare Part C, the plans cover the same or better benefits as the Original Medicare Plan, including
  • Easy-to-budget co-pay and coinsurance amounts when you use network doctors and hospitals
  • Often a lower monthly plan premium than you would pay for a Medicare supplement plan policy.
  • Hospital (Part A), medical (Part B) and prescription drug coverage all in one plan, from one company, often for one monthly plan premium, if you choose a Medicare Advantage plan with Medicare prescription drug coverage
Useful tip
Think of Aetna Medicare Advantage Plans with Medicare prescription drug benefits as "all-in-one" plans. They're the only Medicare plan option that includes hospital, medical and prescription drug coverage all in one plan, from one company, often for one monthly plan premium.

Most plans offer these "Aetna ExtrasSM" at no extra cost to you:
