Aetna members don't pay anything for the flu vaccine at any approved site in the Aetna network. Find one in our DocFind® directory. Look under Helpful Information.
Consider these options in the network and elsewhere:
You can get your flu shot at more than 25,000 approved network sites. They include supermarkets, drug stores and urgent care centers. Pick the time and place that's best for you.
A flu shot is covered at 100% as preventive care if your doctor is in Aetna’s network.
(You may pay other charges if you get other services or if your doctor charges for an office visit. Check with your doctor before you go.)
You may be able to get your flu shot at work from an Aetna-contracted flu vaccine provider. Some employers offer this option at no cost to you. Ask about it at work.
You may have received a Flu Care card through your employer.
This debit-style card makes it easy for you and your family members (18 years or older) to get flu shots.
You won't pay anything. Just show your card and a photo ID at a participating pharmacy. There are more than 25,000 pharmacies in the Flu Care network.
