Dependent Life Insurance provides financial protection to you and your loved ones at little or no cost to you. Should one of your dependents die, you will receive a cash payment from Aetna. The amount of this payment will be determined by the coverage options available through your plan. You may be able to receive additional amounts of dependent coverage through the Dependent Supplemental Life Insurance benefit, if one is offered through your plan. If you do not know the details of your plan's Dependent Life Insurance benefit, please refer to your Plan's Summary of Coverage, or contact your benefits administrator.
