Types of Disability Insurance

 

Available through employer provided plans only.  Not available for individual purchase.

We offer short-term and long-term disability benefits. We provide benefits if you have a qualifying injury, pregnancy or illness. 

Short Term Disability (STD) provides a weekly benefit.

Long Term Disability (LTD) provides a monthly benefit.

In addition, five states have state-mandated disability plans. The states are California, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. Puerto Rico also has state-mandated disability.

If you work in one of these places, you may qualify for this benefit. Check with your employer for more information.
