Aetna Specialty Pharmacy wants to help your transplant be successful. We can provide transplant medicines and the ongoing support you need.

When you order your transplant medicines through Aetna Specialty Pharmacy, you get the Aetna Transplant Life ManagementSM program. Through this program, you may receive a 90-day drug supply. We will check your benefits or insurance plan to make sure a 90-day supply is right for you. If you are a new transplant recipient, you are also eligible for this starter kit. It includes:

• Blood pressure cuff
• Thermometer
• Pill crusher
• Pill cutter
• Pill box
• The book "Living with a transplant"

Your clinical support team

Aetna Specialty Pharmacy nurses and pharmacists help you and your family during the entire transplant process. They provide support and educational information. They can work together with your transplant team, your surgeon and medical specialist.
Our nurses and pharmacists will help to:

• Teach you how to administer injections, if needed
• Check how well you are staying on track with your medicine
• Maintain all of your medical information

You also have the support of an Aetna National Medical Excellence Program® nurse case manager. This is a registered nurse who specializes in working with transplant patients. He or she works with you and your transplant center as needed.
