Aetna Voice Advantage - 24/7 Access to Information

Provider offices can use Aetna Voice Advantage, our automated telephone self-service system, for a variety of administrative needs:  

  • Checking claim status 
  • Checking coverage and benefits  
  • Checking to see if a precertification is required 
  • Obtaining contact information

With Aetna Voice Advantage, you can interact verbally with the system using voice commands or you can use touchtone - do whichever you prefer!  The system allows you to choose to "hear" the information such as the patient's benefits, claim status, or precertification information, or you can have the information "faxed" to your office.  The fax will arrive within minutes of your request.  Please see the sample faxes and helpful hints documents below under the Additional Resources section to see the wealth of information that Aetna Voice Advantage can provide to your office.
