How the Affordable Care Act May Affect You
No matter who you are, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has likely affected you in some way. Here are some things to consider, based on whether you have insurance and where that insurance comes from.

Not much likely changed for you in 2014, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Your benefits may change based on some ACA requirements that apply to the benefits your employer offers you.
- You can check out insurance options that are now available to you on the new public exchanges.
- If your employer offers you coverage, you may not qualify for the financial help that’s offered through an exchange. The answer depends on how much medical care your employer’s plan covers and how much it would cost you to enroll in it.
- Your employer must let you know if the insurance you are offered as an employee meets those coverage and affordability requirements.
