2007 Healthy Community Grants

Aetna and the Aetna Foundation have awarded 274 grants totaling $6 million to community organizations across the country through its 2007 Healthy Community Program.

In 2007 we continued our focus on enhancing the quality of health care and expanded our program to include health walks, health fairs, and health education outreach as well as arts and culture, education, economic development and human services.

Grants were awarded in the followings areas:

Health Profession Training	$261,000

Healthy Outreach/Sponsorship/General Grants:
