Aetna is committed to enhancing the quality of health care, with a special emphasis on reducing racial and ethnic health disparities through our business practices and charitable giving.

Through the 2008 Healthy Community Grants Program and the Healthy Community Outreach Program, Aetna and the Aetna Foundation will award up to $4 million for philanthropic initiatives focused on health care issues in the designated communities listed below.
