How can Aetna help me give my baby a healthy start?
Our Beginning RightSM maternity program comes with your Aetna health benefits plan. You can use this program throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born. Beginning Right can help you learn about helps for a healthy pregnancy and a health baby.

How can I learn more about pediatric and adolescent care?
Depending on the type of plan you have, we send reminders to parents with children at (or close to  13 months of age. This mailer encourages parents to plan a visit to their child's doctor to make sure their child receives all recommended shots. The reminder also stresses that many childhood diseases can be prevented if children get vaccines on time and lists the number and timing of each recommended shot a child should get before their second birthday.

Adolescents need to see their doctors regularly for physical exams and screenings, and to update immunizations. To reinforce the importance of protecting their children's health, we send parents of 12-year-olds reminders encouraging regular checkups. The reminder provides parents with information about what parents should know about immunizations and helpful tips and health resources for parents and preteens.
