AHC includes a Personal Health Record; health assessment with Aetna Healthy Living® programs; disease, case and utilization management; enhanced member outreach; women’s health programs; worksite health; discount programs; healthy lifestyle coaching and much more.
Aetna has innovative wellness solutions for every stage of your employees’ health, with programs designed to help them feel their best no matter where they are on the health care continuum. Not everyone can be perfectly healthy, but, even with an ongoing health condition, an employee can reach his or her optimal level of health.
Our Healthy Lifestyle programs can help identify and manage health risks to prevent disease, alert employees when it’s time to schedule screenings and manage the impact of an illness. Our chronic condition management programs can further help employees and their families:
- Get the treatment and care they need
- Understand and follow their doctor’s treatment plan
- Better manage their ongoing conditions
- Make changes to reach their personal health goals
- Identify and manage their risks for other conditions
When designing your wellness strategy, choose wellness solutions, incentives and the best compliment of programs to fit your business objectives, workplace culture and employee needs and interests.

Importance of preventive care
Each of us is in control of our own health. At Aetna, we believe that preventive care services are an important component of a wellness strategy and should be communicated to employees. We can provide a wealth of information and tools to help you make better health choices. In addition to information, preventive services such as immunizations, routine physicals, and biometric screenings are key to maintaining one's optimal health, reducing risks and keeping your employees and their families healthy.

Incentives drive employee participation
Many of your employees want to improve their health, but need a little push to get started. Incentives can help:
- Create awareness
- Encourage enrollment and participation
- Reward and reinforce efforts toward positive change
Employees are likely motivated by different things. We can help you analyze your population and recommend solutions that will have the most impact.
