Develop Strategy

The importance of an effective wellness strategy
Your journey to wellness starts with implementing a solid, well-thought-out wellness strategy that creates a culture supportive of change for you and your employees.

When designing your strategy and selecting programs and services, you should choose wellness programs and incentives which best fit your business needs, workplace culture and employee interests.  Wellness programs can help identify and manage health risks to prevent disease, alert when it's time to schedule screenings and manage the impact of an illness.

An effective wellness strategy consists of a multi-year plan that results in higher employee satisfaction, improved employee health, increased productivity and overall lower health care costs.

Leadership commitment and communication is key
Support and commitment from senior management is critical to the success of your wellness strategy.  Senior management support helps to ensure you have the resources you need to implement an effective strategy.  Encourage senior management to announce and reinforce wellness throughout the year, through wellness campaign kick-offs or program participation.  Make sure they are visible throughout the year, reinforcing the importance of achieving and maintaining health and wellness.

In addition, consistent and engaging messages help develop strong employee engagement and participation. Leadership support during the communication campaign further helps to increase participation and outcomes significantly. We make it easy to keep your employees informed through a wide selection of redesigned communication materials available through out the year.
