Aetna has signed a letter of agreement with the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center extending the current contract through the end of January 2010. This means that Aetna members can continue accessing services at these facilities, as well as with all UW physicians uninterrupted and at the in-network benefit levels and rates.
Negotiations will continue through January with the goal of having a new two-year contract in place by February 1, 2010.
