CSC employees and their family members can use this site to locate Aetna participating network providers. This site is specific to CSC. Only the Aetna products and networks offered to CSC employees are available through this site. The following is important information to help you use your health plan most effectively.
CSC Preferred Access In-Area Feature
This feature is available when you live in an area where there is a network of physicians and hospitals that contract with Aetna to offer services at discounted rates. You may select a Primary Care Physician (PCP), however it is not required. Each time you access care, you may choose an in-network provider to receive the highest level of benefits available through the plan and you do not have to file the claim, or you may choose an out-of-network provider and receive a lower level of benefits. If an out-of-network provider is used, benefits will be subject to a deductible and reimbursement will be based on a percentage of the reasonable and customary charge and you are responsible for filing the claim form.
CSC Preferred Access Out-of-Area Feature
This feature is only available if you live in an area where there is no contracted provider network (based on your home ZIP Code). The Out-of-Area feature provides traditional indemnity benefits. Care can be obtained from any licensed health care provider. After your deductible is reached, the Out-of-Area feature reimburses covered health care costs at a percentage of the reasonable and customary charges. You are responsible for filing all claim forms.
CSC Exclusive Access Plan
When you enroll in the CSC Exclusive Access Plan, you must choose a primary care physician (PCP) for yourself and each covered family member. You may change your PCP as often as you like by contacting Aetna Member Services or logging into Aetna Navigator. When you need care, you visit your designated PCP and pay the copay. If you need care your PCP can't provide, he or she will refer you to a specialty care provider who belongs to Aetna's network. The CSC Exclusive Access Plan pays benefits only when your PCP provides or coordinates your care. If you seek care on your own, you must pay the entire cost out of your own pocket.
Managed Choice POS Plan (CSR and CWA Local 1298 employees only)
When you enroll in the Managed Choice POS, you are required to select a primary care physician (PCP) for yourself and each covered family member. You may change your PCP as often as you like by contacting Aetna Member Services or logging into Aetna Navigator. Each time you need care (at the "point of service"), you have a choice: you may visit your PCP or you may seek care on your own. It is important to note that the plan pays benefits at the non-preferred level whenever you seek care without the help of your PCP - even if you seek care from a network provider.
CSR Open Access HMO
This is a plan that allows you to go directly to any network provider when you need care - with no referrals required. The plan does not require you to select a PCP and there are no claim forms to complete. When you need care, you choose a network provider and make an appointment directly. For most covered services, you pay a copay, or flat fee. If you receive care from an out-of-network provider, you pay the entire cost.
