Ronald Inge, D.D.S.

Dr. Ronald Inge recently joined Aetna as its chief dental officer. Dr. Inge's multifunctional capabilities include network development, contracting and provider relations, as well as overseeing and setting clinical policy. His well-rounded dental business background includes positions where he directly led or collaborated on a wide range of business decisions ranging from clinical to sales and underwriting.

Dr. Inge previously served as vice president of professional services and chief dental officer at PMI, the managed dental care division of Delta of California. Before joining Delta, he was senior vice president of provider relations at DentiCare of California.

He has 14 years of private-practice experience. He holds a doctor of dental surgery degree from UCLA and a bachelor's degree in human biology from Stanford University. He currently is a member of the board for the California Association of Dental Plans. His membership associations include the American Dental Association, the National Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Inge and his wife, Patti, live in Hartford, Connecticut.
