This CPB has been revised to state that a SNAP testing system using fewer than 3 channels is considered experimental and investigational. SNAP Testing using 3 or more channels is considered a medically necessary device for home diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea in adults, according to the criteria in CPB 004 - Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Adults.
