Aetna and the Aetna Foundation grant programs support efforts to improve quality of life, foster health and wellness, and promote equality in health care. We also provide financial support to employees and retirees who volunteer in their communities.

Connecticut grants

Aetna and the Aetna Foundation offer grant programs that support a wide range of initiatives in Hartford and Middletown, the two towns where our main facilities are located. Our Regional Community Health Grants program is available for non-profit organizations throughout the entire state of Connecticut.

Regional Community Health Grants

Through the Regional Community Grants Program and the Healthy Community Outreach Program, Aetna and the Aetna Foundation award grants for philanthropic initiatives focused on health care issues in designated communities.

Quality of care

The Aetna Foundation works to improve the overall quality of health care.

Employee and retiree community involvement

Building on a long history of service, Aetna employees and retirees have an enormous positive impact in the communities where they live and work. Aetna offers financial support to employees and retirees who contribute time or money to nonprofit groups.
