Right now, I’m wearing two hats at work. I am a project manager. And I’m also the interim customer service manager for our call center. Thankfully, I have a great staff. Their creativity and talent continues to impress and excite me. Their energy drives me to do more.

Over the years, my immediate manager has taught me a lot. And she helped me to get plenty of experience in other business areas. I’m very fortunate to have someone like that looking out for me and being my sounding board. In my mind, all of Aetna’s values are driven by integrity. For example, someone may come up with a very creative idea. But if it’s not based on doing the right thing for the right reason – it’s a no-go. I love to figure out problems at work and watch the solutions grow. It’s kind of like gardening, where I get a little dirty and then see what pops up.
