The E. E. Cammack Group School is at the center of our Sales Professional Training Program. This school offers the sales training and real-world business experience that can take you anywhere you want to go. Since our group school began in 1924, 104 classes have graduated from this prestigious program. Today, alumni hold high-profile positions at Aetna and many other leading companies within the health care industry.

The E. E. Cammack Group School is a sales and account management training program that recruits and hires early-in-career professionals to become part of the Aetna sales and service organization. We’ll not only teach you industry basics, but also help you transition from college experience to the corporate environment.

The program includes:

  • Intensive classroom-based study
  • On-the-job training with business mentors who can help you get the most out of this program. You’ll have a group school “buddy,” an Aetna corporate advisor and a field office mentor.
  • Opportunities to network with, and learn from, Aetna senior leadership — and some of the best salespeople in our industry.

You’ll learn a lot — including how to make the most of your potential. Our program teaches you:

  • Aetna values 
  • How to be a business professional
  • Fundamental client relationship & sales skills
  • Basics of the insurance industry
  • Presentation skills
  • Tools to succeed now and throughout your career

What's required

Here’s what you should have to join our program:

  • B.S. or B.A. (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (desired) 
  • Integrity and a strong work ethic 
  • Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills 
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a group
  • The willingness to be adaptable and accountable for your actions
  • Computer skills
