Our additional benefits offer a wide range of helpful support services.
Wellness is helping employees achieve optimal physical, emotional and financial health. At Aetna we believe good personal financial behavior is linked to good physical health. We offer free one-to-one personal consultations with a certified financial planner or with a retirement education specialist. Additionally, we offer small group workshops geared towards educating employees on a variety of financial and benefit related topics. Aetna also provides a website equipped with online tools, resources and videos to help you become ‘financially fit’.
Employee Tuition Assistance Program
We encourage professional development in the workplace, including financial support for employees to continue their education so they can meet their current or future career objectives. Generally, our Employee Tuition Assistance Program covers a portion of course tuition, registration fees and laboratory fees for a college course from an accredited college/university with proof of a passing grade.
One of our core values is to improve the quality of life in communities in which we live and work through a strong commitment to employee volunteerism and through financial support, such as the Matching Gifts program. The Partners in Community Giving program encourages employees to support nonprofit charitable organizations and to serve as volunteers through its Aetna Volunteers! program.
