Pulmonary Diseases What to expect with Aetna Specialty Pharmacy Aetna Specialty Pharmacy understands the special needs of patients with pulmonary disease. This disease might include primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) or pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). With both PPH and PAH, patients struggle with unusually high pressure in the pulmonary artery. This makes it difficult for the heart to pump blood through the lungs, causing the patient to suffer from shortness of breath, chest pain or other symptoms. We provide the medication and support these patients need to help improve their quality of life. When you order your patient's specialty medications through Aetna Specialty Pharmacy, you and your patients will receive fast delivery, expert support, and so much more.
If you have questions about your patient's medications, we can help. Call anytime - day or night - to talk to a registered nurse or pharmacist.
